The good things in life.

To try and prevent any further damage, today Ishka didn't join the boys in the dog pen while J and I were at work. Instead, she got her own indoor/outdoor room - the enclosed BBQ area of our back deck.
J carefully dog proofed it before he left, trying to ensure that Ishka's stubborn Siberian Tonka Truck toughness (to quote S from Snofall Siberians!) didn't lead to her trying any unwise explorations. I really wasn't sure it was going to be so neat at the end of the day of solitary confinement, especially after seeing FB pics of K & Evil T's kids shredding an entire dog bed today. Yoiks! K was off for a little medical procedure herself, and we hope everything went swimmingly. Which means, no caravan awnings.
But, Ishka was her daddy's good girl, spending the day delicately nibbling on a pressed bone and cuddling with her favourite teddy, Tassie! Teddies make everything better, right Ishka?
Meanwhile, the boys had to cope out in the backyard in their bachelor pad... I think they missed Ishka... Once they noticed she was gone.

While we wait til Ishka's surgery rolls around on Thursday, our friend H, mum to Milo, Flash and Sophie of the Cry Havoc Racing Team, is off to surgery tomorrow. We wish her all the best - and hope she doesn't wake up with a caravan awning surgically attached!
